Ann is an Advocate of the High Court with over 15 years’ experience and is the Managing and Founding Partner of Namara Musinguzi & Co. Advocates, which specializes in Arbitration, Construction Law, and Corporate Governance.
Renowned for her analytical skills and attention to detail, she serves as an Arbitrator and Counsel in Arbitral Matters and is frequently appointed to Arbitral Tribunals and Dispute Avoidance and Adjudication Boards. Ann’s awards have consistently been upheld and enforced by the courts and she has also been appointed by the courts to serve as Arbitrator in several matters; a testament to her integrity and professional standing in the field.
Ann is a sought-after panelist and trainer on arbitration and construction-related matters and has participated in panel presentations and conducted trainings for entities such as the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators–Uganda Chapter, International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitration & ADR Forum (ICC YAAF), Uganda Christian Lawyers Fraternity, and the Uganda Law Society.
She is further retained by leading players in the construction industry to offer legal advisory and support on issues arising from the construction sector. A thought leader in Arbitration and Construction, Ann continues to publish insightful articles and thought pieces in these areas.
Ann is the Chairperson of the Education and Training Committee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators–Uganda Chapter as well as the Editor-in-Chief of the Chapter’s quarterly Newsletter. She is also a Board Member and Course Director of the Construction Law Institute and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Institute’s Yearly Digest.
